This product is equipped with a ratchet load binder, which allows for tensioning of the lashing without using a lot of energy. This is a grade 100 product. A higher grade number indicates the use of higher quality steel, resulting in increased tensile strength and a higher working load limit. Grade 100 chain is stronger and lighter than grade 80 chain, with about 25% higher strength-to-weight ratio. It also has a slightly harder surface, giving it an advantage in abrasion resistance. Lashings are manufactured in Slovenia and made in accordance with the 12195-3 standard. Each product is supplied with instructions for use and a checklist of inspections.
