Eye container hook CWH. Hooks without safety latch, like foundry hook type CWH, can be used for special applications where automated systems are used to deposit the load without manual assistance from personnel. Foundry hooks have an exceptionally wide hook opening, allowing them to fit around many large objects that standard lifting hooks cannot fit. Eye Hooks allow for much more flexibility and efficiency in positioning an attachment. They have a round attachment point and are permanent solutions. On an eye hook, a chain or fittings are welded for a permanent connection to the sling.

Please consider the special notes for the use of hooks without safety latch. It is strictly prohibited to use these hooks during construction works. Galvanized latches are protected against elements that may cause accelerated corrosion or deterioration to the product. Because of the permanent nature of an eye hook, if the hook becomes damaged, the whole sling has to be failed out upon inspection and removed from service. The product is designed, tested and certified in compliance with the tehnical directives EN 1677.
