Increased radius of bow on a synthetic sling shackle gives wider sling bearing surface resulting in an increased area for load distribution and allowing for better load distribution on internal fibers. This product is an all aloy construction. Synthetic sling shackle type 281 meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26. Aditionally, this product meet other critical preformance requrements, including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addresed by ASME B30.26. Galvanized shackles are protected against elements that may cause accelerated corrosion or deterioration to the product.
